LANGLEY

Hi Valued Langley Clients,
We are reaching out with Important Spring reminders:

  1. Please see below friendly reminders for your Spring lessons starting the week of Tuesday, April 3 to Friday, June 29:

a)   Please make sure you bring into your first lesson, your child's Report Card and Information Page, you can find the Information Page along with directions to the pool, closure dates etc.. here: http://www.swimclo.com/spring-2018-session-info. Please note even if you are a returning family you must fill out a new information page.

b)   If you are unsure of your lesson time please login to the parent portal here to check: https://app3.jackrabbitclass.com/portal/ppLogin.asp?id=524946.

c)   As change room doors are permanently locked, we suggest if you are wanting to make the most out of every minute of the lesson it is best to have your child come with bathing suit on and use the washroom available before the lesson if needed. The washroom is on the hotel main entrance level next to the "Gardenia Function room". This can be accessed when you walk through the main entrance, make a right turn and proceed down the hallway. Once ready for your lesson proceed to the pool on the lower level and wait for the change room door to open with your child already in bathing suit with goggles on their head.

d)   After escorting your into child to the change room and helping them shower please leave so that your child and their classmates can get the highest quality lesson without distractions. In accordance with hotel policy, we ask that parents do not stay on the pool deck, in the change room, or in the lobby area outside the pool during lessons. You are welcome to sit quietly in the "Great Room" which when entering the hotel is directly in front you on the main floor. You will be invited to view our classes during the open house (May 22-28) which will be during the last 20 minutes of your regular scheduled lesson.

e)   As a safety precaution please note before and after your lesson your child's safety is your responsibility, please keep your children within arm's reach as the pool is a dangerous place for unsupervised children. Outside of your lesson time our coaches do not assume responsibility for your child as they may not be in the pool area or may be preoccupied with other classes. At the Langley school there are no safety doors between the change room and the pool area so this is especially important.

f) Please refrain from eating in the change rooms.

g) Notification of cancellations and important information pertaining to your lessons is via text message/email.

CLOVERDALE

Hi Valued Cloverdale Clients,
We are reaching out with Important Spring reminders:

  1. Please see below friendly reminders for your Spring lessons starting the week of Tuesday, April 3 to Friday, June 29:

a)     Please make sure you bring into your first lesson, your child's Report Card and Information Page, you can find the Information Page along with directions to the pool, closure dates here: http://www.swimclo.com/spring-2018-session-info. Please note even if you are a returning family you must fill out a new information page.

b)     If you are unsure of your lesson time please login to the parent portal here to check:https://app3.jackrabbitclass.com/portal/ppLogin.asp?id=524946.

c)     As change room doors are permanently locked, we suggest if you are wanting to make the most out of every minute of the lesson it is best to have your child come with bathing suit on. Ideally your child will be washroomed and ready in bathing suit with goggles on their head when the door opens.  Then they will only need to take a quick rinse. Please note after the lesson you will have access to the changerooms to shower, washroom and change your child.

d)     After escorting your child to the pool deck door, please leave so that your child and their classmates can get the highest quality lesson without distractions. In accordance with hotel policy, the hotel prefers that parents do not stay on the pool deck, in the change room, in the lobby, or in front of the circular window that looks into the pool area. You are welcome to sit in the hotel restaurant or you are welcome to leave. If you choose to stay in the lobby, please ensure that you are courteous and clean up after yourselves by returning the lobby to its original state (clean up garbage, move chairs back, etc) as we have received numerous complaints from the hotel which compromises our contract with them. Please also use inside voices and ensure that any children are sitting quietly. You will be invited to view our classes during the open house (May 22-28) which will be during the last 20 minutes of your regular scheduled lesson.

e)     As a safety precaution please note before and after your lesson your child's safety is your responsibility. Please keep your children within arm's reach as the pool is a dangerous place for unsupervised children. Please ensure that you enter the hotel through the front doors (being especially careful with little ones as they are automatic and children can be easily injured). Make sure the back door to the outside near the change room doors remains closed at all times (please do not prop it open as it has been reported to us that people have been doing); the hotel requests that all clients come through the front doors. Outside of your lesson time our coaches do not assume responsibility for your child as they may not be in the pool area or may be preoccupied with other classes.

f) Please refrain from eating in the change rooms.

g) Notification of cancellations and important information pertaining to your lessons is via text message/email.
